About the role
The Production Electrician I performs electrical installation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities that support manufacturing operations. Working under general supervision, this role installs and repairs electrical systems, assembles control panels and cable harnesses, and assists with PLCs, high voltage enclosures, and production equipment while developing technical proficiency.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of electrical experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commerical environment.
- Effective communication and problem solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and testing.
- Experience using common electrical testing equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical one-lines, electrical schematics, and electrical prints.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk or table as well as machine tools or printers.
- Completion of Electrician apprenticeship program.
- Valid electrician license.
- IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-Standard Certifications.
