About the role
The Springfield YMCA is looking for a Substitute Bus Driver for our School Age Program. Provides safe transportation in vehicle (up to 60 passengers) to and from specified sites, following scheduled assignments and complying with all traffic regulations. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes child safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. What you'll bring
- Minimum age of 21.
- Minimum 5 years driving experience and 2 years CDL experience.
- Valid CDL license with School Bus Endorsement.
- Current physical exam.
- Knowledge of the rules/guidelines related to commercial passenger vehicles (bus).
- Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
- Desire and ability to work with children.
- Completion of required trainings.
