About the role
As a Pharmacy Technician at MediCircle, you will be responsible for ensuring that MediCircle provides best-in-class customer service to our patients and partners. You will assist our Pharmacist in Charge with pharmacy management, preparation of outgoing drug donation kits, inventory management, medication fulfillment, medication disposal, and other tasks as assigned. You will gain meaningful exposure to building and scaling a novel pharmacy operation, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business. This is a high-impact patient-facing role that is integral to MediCircle’s growth and success. Communicating via phone, text, and email with patients, providers, and pharmacists to resolve any issues and provide prescription updates while adhering to HIPAA regulations and company policies – you will be the friendly voice patients hear when they need updates or reassurance
What you'll bring
- high school diploma or equivalent diploma (e.g., GED)
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential in good standing
- active registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- 2+ years as a Pharmacy Technician
- Familiar with industry-specific terminology (NDC codes, SIG codes, both brand and generic names of medications, etc)
- Aptitude to learn and navigate computer systems and applications that may be new to you
- Availability: full-time availability required
- operating hours are 9am to 5pm CST Monday - Friday
- You take pride in your work, care deeply about patients, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to make things better, no matter how big or small the task
- You must be willing (and excited) to work in a fast-paced, flexible, startup environment – we’re looking for candidates who are adaptable and energized by building something new
- Experience in pharmacy operations, fulfillment, or closed-door pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with inventory-heavy or redistribution-focused pharmacy models
