About the role
The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for leading the mechanical maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient execution of all mechanical work across the facility. This role directly supervises mechanics and contractors, sets clear expectations, and holds the team accountable for results. This position requires a highly engaged, field-focused leader who drives work execution, reinforces standards, and fosters a strong team culture aligned with Vistra’s “One Team” philosophy. This role is best suited for individuals who lead from the field, establish clear expectations, hold their teams accountable, and take ownership of delivering results.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of mechanical maintenance experience in power generation or heavy industrial environments required.
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, valves, and mechanical systems required.
- Proven ability to set expectations, enforce standards, and drive accountability.
