About the role
YouTrip Australia is looking for a hands-on Social Media Executive to help grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and travel-focused online communities. This is a highly executional role with content creation at its core, but broader exposure across social publishing, community interaction, trend tracking, and performance insights. You’ll help bring YouTrip to life online — creating relatable and high-quality content, showing up authentically in travel conversations, and helping make YouTrip the most talked-about travel money card in Australia!
What you'll bring
- 1-2 years minimum experience producing social or UGC-style content (brand, freelance, or personal)
- Comfortable filming yourself or others in natural, creator-style formats
- Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, VN, Premiere, or similar)
- Good design instincts (Canva, Figma, Adobe tools)
- Strong understanding of what resonates with Australians and travel audiences
- Fast, curious, independent, and comfortable experimenting, learning, and iterating quickly
- Interest in travel, budgeting hacks, or fintech products
- Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g. Chatgpt, Claude, Higgsfield, Midjourney) to speed up ideation and content production
