Working closely with the team Manager and the broader Legal Team, the purpose of this role is to provide advice and manage litigation in the PIC efficiently and effectively, to support the Business Unit operational teams with complex matters, and to provide advice in s151Z recovery claims. Working as part of a IfNSW Business Unit, this role will be responsible for ensuring EML performance targets and organisational objectives are met while providing a high level of service delivery to our stakeholders This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with strong claims management experience including litigation, working within a personal injury environment.
- Excellent understanding of the Workers compensation legislation and the associated regulations (pre and post 2012 legislative amendments).
- Applicable tertiary legal qualifications.
- Admission and legal practice experience highly regarded.
