About the role

Creature Comforts Pet Resort is looking for a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain our two busy pet care facilities. This is a part-time position requiring travel between our Angola and Tonawanda locations. This position is responsible for helping ensure both facilities remain safe for our employees, clients, and—most importantly—our animals. You'll be expected to proactively identify maintenance issues, eliminate hazards, and recommend improvements that help prevent accidents and equipment failures.

What you'll bring

• The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and experience in multiple skilled trades.
• Experience in general building maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation between both facilities
• Applicants must be comfortable working around dogs of all breeds and sizes and enjoy being part of an animal-loving team.
