About the role

As Arc’s Strategic Finance Manager you will own strategic finance and FP&A across the company. That means owning our financial models and forecasts, driving reporting that goes directly to our CEO and Board, and running our budgeting and planning processes. This role will report to the Director of Finance. We're looking for someone fired up by the mission and ready to build. You'll thrive here if you move fast, take ownership, and care about the details. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years in investment banking, strategic finance, or FP&A at a high-growth company
• Proficiency with advanced financial modeling in Excel and building clear, executive-ready presentations
• Background in corporate finance fundamentals, with fluency connecting operational drivers to three-statement forecasts and telling the story behind the numbers
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguity, manage multiple workstreams, and sweat the details under tight deadlines
• Solid accounting foundation (GAAP fluency, close experience) with willingness to support month-end close alongside the accounting team
• Passion for using AI tools to automate workflows and multiply your output
• Experience in hard tech, manufacturing, marine, automotive, or aerospace and defense
• Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
• Enthusiasm for boating and the water
