About the role

ServiceMaster by RSI i s looking for a Lead Construction Technician to take charge of various aspects of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in finishing sheet rock , installing insulation, carpet, flooring, cabinets, and trim, while also leading a team effectively.     Responsibilities:   • Lead and oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, serving as the primary point of contact for project execution. • Manage the installation of batt insulation, hanging of sheetrock (both 1/2 and 5/8), and proficiently finish and spray texture as needed. • Oversee painting tasks for both interior and exterior surfaces, including cabinets, ensuring high-quality finishes. • Provide guidance and supervision to team members/helpers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. • Coordinate with various trades and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met according to schedule. • Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times. Qualifications:   • Demonstrated experience in residential construction, with a strong proficiency in installing batt insulation, hanging and finishing sheetrock, spraying texture, and painting (interior, exterior, and cabinets). • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, promoting teamwork and productivity. • Thorough understanding of construction techniques, materials, and tools. • Effective verbal and written communication skills, for clear collaboration with team members and subcontractors. • Capability to interpret blueprints and follow project specifications accurately. • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process. • Physical ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50-75 lbs. • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.     Benefits:   Health insurance   Dental insurance   Vision insurance   Retirement plan   Paid time off
