About the role
As the demand for grid modernization and energy infrastructure continues to grow, we're looking for leaders who can successfully manage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects from concept through completion. As an EPC Project Manager , you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex EPC projects across the power delivery market. You will be responsible for managing project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, budget, risk, client satisfaction, and overall profitability. Working closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and client stakeholders, you will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining alignment with Michels Power's operational standards and safety-first culture.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of project management experience within utility infrastructure, power delivery, EPC, or heavy civil construction environments
- Experience managing EPC projects involving Overhead Transmission, Overhead Distribution, and/or Substation construction
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction sequencing, scheduling, and project controls
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting, contracts, risk, and change management
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as required
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
