About the role
We're seeking a Director of Project Management Office (PMO) to lead enterprise-wide project delivery and organizational change initiatives. We're looking for a PMO leader with demonstrated experience leading and developing project managers, establishing portfolio governance, managing enterprise project intake and prioritization, and influencing executive decision-making across a complex organization. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to drive strategic priorities, oversee complex projects, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience leading a team of Project Managers
- 10+ years of project management experience, including leading complex projects and programs.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, sound judgment, and strong ethical standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Ability to translate complex operational and technical concepts into clear executive-level insights.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Experience within financial services, banking, or technology-driven environments.
- Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., Alkami, Fiserv, Jack Henry) is a plus.
- Experience leading large-scale system conversions or implementations.
- PMP certification or strong knowledge of PMBOK methodologies.
