About the role

The Institutional Services Risk Control Design Specialist will have a specific focus analyzing process and control design. The position is responsible for coordinating with our business partners across the segment with the objective of providing critical review and challenge on process design, facilitating process improvement, and ultimately supporting the establishment and maintenance of an effective and sustainable control environment.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience in the banking industry.
• Three years of experience in formulating, developing and working within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-functional collaboration and management skills.
• Ability to communicate concepts/theories and develop alternative recommendations.
• Ability to make effective presentations to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to build consensus, and move projects forward despite roadblocks and competing functional priorities.
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative/analytical discipline such as Finance, Accounting or Economics or Master’s degree.
• Public accounting experience on audits of banking industry SEC registrants is preferred.
