About the role

As Director of Claims Management , you’ll play a critical leadership role in protecting one of the nation’s leading health systems by directing complex professional and general liability claims, shaping litigation strategy, and partnering with executive leadership to minimize organizational risk while supporting exceptional patient care.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in claims management, litigation management, or healthcare liability.
• Experience managing outside defense counsel, insurance carriers, brokers, and complex litigation.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing professional teams.
• Strong business judgment, negotiation, and strategic decision-making skills.
• CPCU, ARM, or other insurance/risk management designation.
• E xperience with captive insurance programs or reinsurance.
• Familiarity with the London insurance market.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred.
