About the role

The Pricing Specialist is a key resource on Blackhawk’s pricing team. The pricing specialist supports assigned territories and is a key member of the local branch leadership team.

What you'll bring

• Analytical: Solid analytical skills are necessary to compare sales and margin trends.
• Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills are important, as pricing analysts work with team members at all levels, including branch associates, account managers and general manager.
• Detail-oriented: The ability to pay close attention to detail to provide customer facing information is a crucial aspect of the role.
• Will require processing large volumes of data in an effective manner.
• Problem-solving: Pricing analysts require problem-solving skills to identify declining sales and margin trends and devise strategies to improve them.
• Must be proficient Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of Accounting, Sales, Customer Service or Marketing experience is preferred.
