About the role

This position is focused on the mechanical design, development, and manufacturing of stationary and mobile antenna systems and related equipment.

What you'll bring

• Knowledge in the areas of materials, structural and thermal analysis, dynamics, vibration and mechanical shock, heat transfer, and finite element analysis
• Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques such as machining, sheet metal, and forming, along
• Solid model design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and detailed drawing experience
• Technically proficient in MS Office products
• Must be eligible to obtain and hold a US DoD Security Clearance in support of US Government contracts/ subcontracts
• Follow ThinKom corporate policies and design procedures
• 2+ years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering and product design and development desired, but not mandatory
• some experience with injection molded plastics and cast metal part design preferred, but not mandatory
• preferably using Creo or similar CAD software
