About the role
A police officer prevents, detects, and investigates all crime, enforces traffic laws and regulations, and investigates accidents. The goal is to provide a safe and secure campus and to assist faculty, staff and students. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CLEET Police Officer Certified, must complete a minimum of 25hrs CLEET continuing education to include 2hrs mental health and firearms requalification per year to retain certification.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, or oral form
