About the role
Western Home Communities is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate RN leader to join our team as a Nurse Mentor at our Ackley location. In this unique role, you'll lead with heart and excellence, empowering staff, supporting residents, and setting the standard for high-quality, person-centered care. The Village of Ackley currently provides a full range of services to older adults in Ackley and surrounding communities. We have a great team of dedicated individuals who make long-term care fun and positively impact the lives of those we serve.
What you'll bring
- Graduate of a state board-approved Registered Nurse (RN) program
- Current Iowa RN license in good standing
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with MDS process
- Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of the Iowa mandatory supervisory course (or willingness to complete within 6 months)
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
