About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum of care in accordance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

What you'll bring

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• additional certifications as required by area unless an approved exemption is granted and remains on file.
• New graduate nurses will be required to complete the nurse residency program.
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe patient care, communicate effectively, and function within an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides safe, timely assessment and prioritization of patients across the continuum of emergency care.
• Must obtain and maintain competency in emergency department triage, including Emergency Severity Index (ESI) assignment.
• For level one trauma centers: trauma triage criteria and activation processes.
• Completes required trauma education and demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to care for traumatically injured patients.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Safety Care Training (Brown Health Level I)
• Basic Dysrhythmia/Telemetry
• Medication Test
