About the role

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in San Antonio, Texas 2-3 days per week. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care through administering IV and IM Ketamine treatments and Spravato treatments under the supervision of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Your expertise and compassionate approach will contribute to improving the lives of our patients and supporting their mental health journey. What you'll bring

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in providing patient care in a mental health treatment setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the medical team effectively.
  • Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities to evaluate patient responses to treatments and make appropriate adjustments as necessary.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care to individuals with diverse mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the overall success of the mental health treatment center.
  • IV certification highly preferred.
  • Certification in IV therapy administration and experience in administering IV and IM medications is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Ketamine treatments, Spravato treatments, and their associated protocols is a plus
