About the role
AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to support our multi-disciplinary design team addressing the most challenging engineering tasks in power generation. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant heavy industrial and/or power generation experience
- +4 years of experience
- EIT or PE license
- Demonstrated experience of structural steel design and reinforced concrete design
- Demonstrated experience with design/building codes such as the AISC Manual of Steel Construction, ACI 318, International Building Code, and ASCE 7 (Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures).
- Proficient with computer productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience to structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro
- Experience with civil drainage and sitework design
- Basic knowledge and skill with AutoCAD software
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive
