About the role
Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to help shape the future of lunar technologies and missions. Advanced Programs leads the company’s earliest stage work, from mission concept definition and long-term technology road mapping to hands on development of breakthrough technologies that will power our next generation of lunar landers, surface systems, and spacecraft. In this role, you will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, directly influencing the technologies and architectures that will drive Astrobotic’s future lunar pursuits. This position is based out of Pittsburgh, PA and can be either onsite or remote. What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: space system development, systems engineering, structure/thermal design and analysis, avionics, power systems, propulsion, orbital mechanics, electrical systems, mechanical & fluid systems, software & controls, modeling & simulation, and/or manufacturing.
- Experience developing technical content for proposals and external customer presentations.
- Experience authoring and decomposing mission and system-level requirements.
- Strong understanding of the launch, space, and lunar environments.
- Understanding of full end-to-end mission solutions
- Experience with mission architecture development
- Demonstrated experience writing and reviewing software scripts for automation & analysis.
- Knowledge of NASA/industry engineering standards.
- Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment, using organizational tools such as Confluence and Jira.
- Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
