This is a foundational role well-suited for a detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in regulatory affairs, government relations, or land use/permitting within the infrastructure and energy sector.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Environmental Policy, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in government affairs, regulatory affairs, public policy, or a related support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize technical/regulatory information for non-technical audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with tracking/database tools
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, data center, or utility sectors
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania state and local government processes and ability to learn government and regulatory structures in other jurisdictions
- Prior exposure to environmental and regulatory permitting processes
