Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Flight Department is seeking a Part-Time Airline Transport Pilot Program Instructor to support the Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) at the Daytona Beach Campus. The Instructor Pilot (IP) delivers high-quality ground and simulator instruction designed to prepare aspiring airline pilots for ATP certification while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and university training standards. This position plays a critical role in developing the next generation of professional aviators through advanced simulator-based training and individualized instruction. What you'll bring

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land rating
- Current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant flight experience
- Pilot in Command (PIC) in operations conducted under FAA Parts 91 or 135
- Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) in operations conducted under FAA Part 121
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards related to flight training operations
- Strong interpersonal and instructional skills with the ability to work effectively with students possessing varying levels of experience and ability
- Ability to adapt to scheduling requirements and operational changes as needed
- CL-65 (CRJ-200) Type Rating
- Prior experience delivering simulator-based airline training
