About the role

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of experts, you will manufacture and assemble large-scale hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transforming the way rockets are made and operated. This is a frontline, hands-on-hardware, tank production, and assembly Aerospace Technician role.

What you'll bring

• Passion for our mission and vision is required!
• 2+ years of experience (level II)
• Use of hand drills, power feed drills (PFD), track drills, Jiffy/E-Tech tools
• Knowledge of proper drill speeds and feeds for materials being worked
• Use of drill jigs, bomb sites, and tools needed for hand placement of holes
• Understand hole angularity and the importance of quality hole tolerances
• Experience drilling through aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and composite stacks
• Experience in application of sealants, adhesives, paints, and primers
• Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation, and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly
• Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts
• Overhead Crane Operator
