About the role

To provide personal care and comfort services to terminally ill patients, regardless of their age, and perform related homemaker tasks in the patient/family residences or Cottingham Hospice House, in accordance with the plan of care, as assigned and supervised by the registered nurse. This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

What you'll bring

• The CNA must be proficient in the completion and documentation of the following tasks:
• Job related course work beyond high school - completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program
• Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
• CNA - NURSING ASSISTANT - NCNA
• SCDL - SC DRIVERS LICENSE - LSCD
• Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry
• Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
• Mathematical skills
• Proof of auto liability coverage
• Must be willing to travel and have reliable personal transportation
• Work Shift
