About the role
Are you a socially conscious, dedicated individual who is committed to building a better future for children, families, and their communities? If so, join us as we support early childhood education programs across the country to create positive outcomes for the children and families served. In this position as an Early Head Start (Infant/Toddler) Teacher, you will work collaboratively with a partner Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom serving 6–8 children from birth to age 3. You will play a critical role in supporting children’s early development by implementing a research-based curriculum, fostering nurturing relationships, and creating a safe, engaging learning environment.
What you'll bring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for working with infants, toddlers, and families in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
- Infant/Toddler CDA OR Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field with Infant/Toddler coursework required).
- Ability to obtain Infant/Toddler CDA within one year if provisionally qualified.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic computer literacy including email, Google Suite, and data systems.
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage responsibilities independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
