About the role
Beacon is a successful and national behavioral health company providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high-acuity behaviors. All activities related to this position must be delivered in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, accreditation standards, state and federal licensing requirements, HCBS guidelines, and the contractual requirements of Community Mental Health Agencies and other regulatory bodies. The Lead Day Program Professional (Lead DPP) is responsible for ensuring individuals have engaging and person-centered experiences that promote independence, community integration and overall well-being.
What you'll bring
- ◦ High School Diploma and two years of experience in manufacturing and/or industrial work environment as well as work in the human services profession or;
- ◦ Demonstrated ability to work with people, program objectives and have effective communications skills in our organization for a minimum of six months.
- ◦ Must complete and pass a drug test, in applicable states.
- ◦ Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
- ◦ Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.
- ◦ Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
- ◦ Ability to use office equipment, including BSLS information technology systems.
