About the role

This position requires the operation of Company vehicles for the purpose of deliveries and pick-ups. Delivery and pick-up services are both local and out of State routes. Routes allow drivers to be home daily, however; circumstances may arise with weather conditions, vehicle repair issues, or special delivery needs that may require a driver to spend the night in a hotel on occasion. This position also requires working in Shipping & Receiving departments, in addition to regular driving assignments.

What you'll bring

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Understands how to use company Intranet including navigating the Quality, Environmental, and CIT system.
• Able to look up SDS.
• Must have valid driver’s license, with no restrictions.
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Forklift certification required. (Will certify in-house)
• Our Gleason drivers represent the company to our customers.
• Excellent communication skills a must.
• Will work closely with other drivers and dock personnel.
• Practice and follow the Gleason Business Philosophy (GBP), and be knowledgeable in the company’s ISO 9001 & 14001 targets, objectives and goals.
• Have a clear understanding of your departmental work instructions and processes.
• Employee is required to learn, understand and practice Lean Manufacturing principles within our facility.
