About the role

Truck Driver-NE_TS Warehouse-499 Position: Truck Driver Employer: Salvation Army Minimum Qualifications: Must have a GED or high school diploma Valid Texas state driver’s license. Prior experience driving a box truck. Certifications: Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain in a time frame) Baler Machine Certification (or ability to obtain in a time frame) Duties: Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager will help assist in loading and unloading pickups; and or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise; to serve production needs of the warehouse. Assist in sorting, organizing, and processes all material daily; operate a forklift when needed; and perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager. When needed: Inputs & maintains daily Store sales using the cash register and credit card machines; collects all monies, counts change and gives customer sales receipt; prepares & packages final sales for customer upon exit; runs routine cash register print outs; closes out register at end of shift; prepares and balances the cash register drawer; ensures the Daily Sales Report is completed and signed. Schedule: Full Time Position 40 hours a week.
