About the role

The Admissions Counselor is responsible for recruiting, admitting, and enrolling qualified prospective students into School of Business graduate programs at Mercer University. Responsibilities for recruitment events include, but are not limited to: travel for recruitment, inquiry development, student meetings, professional presentations, and correspondence. This role regularly interacts with university personnel throughout the enrollment process. The Admissions Counselor recommends Policies and Procedures to the Director to improve the admissions office's efficiency and effectiveness. In addition, the role assists with strategic planning, proactively identifies enrollment opportunities, and demonstrates leadership by assuming new responsibilities. The Admissions Counselor collaborates with enrollment associates to execute Enrollment Management's strategic plans and meet daily enrollment goals.
