About the role

This position is hired on an as-needed basis per semester. To provide proactive academic support to students and maintain accurate tutoring records under the direction of the Assistant Director of Testing and Tutoring.

What you'll bring

• Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds in 1:1 and group settings required.
• High need courses include statistics, college algebra, anatomy & physiology, and computer applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the subject matter
• tutors must have earned an “A&rdquo
• or “B&rdquo
• in the courses they are tutoring.
• Specialized industry expertise or certifications will be considered in lieu of college coursework for technical courses.
• Demonstrated ability to empathize and provide authentic, positive support to others required.
• Official college transcripts will be required upon hire.
• Exhibit excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to confidentially maintain detailed records in accordance with FERPA.
