About the role
As part of a collaborative team of research and data scientists based in Europe, you will play a meaningful role in advancing Daon's biometric solutions. Working closely with research and engineering colleagues, your primary focus will be on improving and developing new biometric technologies that are delivered on time and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will report directly to the Principal Research Scientist. What you'll bring
- As English is the primary working language, a minimum proficiency level of B2 is required.
- Ability to review, interpret, and implement state-of-the-art research
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate workflow and productivity
- Awareness of privacy, ethics, and security considerations in biometrics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
