About the role
We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for our MAT programs. This role is ideal for a current Porch Light Health provider who is passionate about addiction medicine, dedicated to improving patient outcomes, and eager to support a multidisciplinary care team. The Medical Director leads by example—delivering direct patient care, mentoring providers, ensuring clinical excellence, and advancing our culture of accountability and compassion. This position plays a critical role in strengthening provider performance, maintaining compliance with MAT regulations, and supporting organizational growth. Open to NM locations in Taos, Espanola, Albuquerque, and Las Cruces.
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical experience in addiction medicine, including MAT.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- Proven success in guiding multidisciplinary teams and managing regulatory compliance.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, mentorship, and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust, foster accountability, and support professional growth within the team.
- Highly organized, with strong project management and follow-through.
- Commitment to Porch Light Health’s mission, values, and recovery-focused philosophy of care.
- Board certification in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry preferred.
