About the role
Our client, a lifestyle boutique hotel in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Catering Sales Manager to generate and manage catering and social event business for the hotel. This role is responsible for proactively selling the hotel’s banquet and catering services while building strong client relationships to drive revenue through corporate meetings, social events, weddings, and private functions.
What you'll bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in hotel catering sales, event sales, or hospitality sales.
- Strong understanding of banquet operations and catering services.
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, proposals, and contracts.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with hotel sales software, CRM systems, or catering/event management platforms.
