About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled BHT to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Reno, NV. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission of clinical excellence. As a BHT, you will play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our clients through dedicated nursing practices.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or GED  required.
• Current and valid Nevada  SAPTA medical certification and detox certification   required.
• C omplet ion of   state required  six-hour  training ( withdrawal   symptoms, client confidentiality, infectious and communicable diseases, measuring and  monitoring  vital signs, and  ethical  practices)   required.
• Experience working with clients at various levels of care,
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are  required.
• Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong  organizational  skills  with superior  attention  to detail.
• Excellent interp ers onal  skills.
• an emphasis on substance use disorder or mental health treatment preferred.
