About the role
The Senior Technical Designer leads the fit, construction, and technical development of apparel from concept through production. This role ensures product consistency, performance, and brand integrity across categories, while collaborating closely with design, product development, and merchandising teams. With a strong understanding of the apparel industry and market demands, the Technical Designer drives innovation through patternmaking, garment construction, trim and notion specifications, fittings, and material problem-solving across product lines. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Technical Design, Textile Science, Product Development, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience or education may be considered.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in apparel technical design, with demonstrated expertise in at least two areas such as patternmaking, garment construction, garment fitting, or grading.
- Up to 10% domestic and/or international
- Preferred experience includes leading product categories in tops and bottoms within the apparel industry.
- experience with 3D design platforms like CLO or Browzwear is a plus.
