What you'll bring
- We are looking for an experienced engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the technical and leadership skills to drive success.
- BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited College or University
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina is required, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Proficiency in the design, preparation, and delivery of roadway design plans..
- Familiarity with AASHTO, FHWA, and NCDOT standards.
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD.
- Prior experience managing projects, including developing proposals and overseeing project timelines and budgets.
- A background in mentoring or managing teams, with the ability to collaborate effectively and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members alike.
- NCDOT design experience preferred
