About the role
We are seeking obesity medicine physicians to provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, and to collaborate with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians towards exceptional team-based care. Work is remote, and schedules can be flexible. We are currently accepting applications for a FTE (40 hours per week) Obesity Medicine Physician or Endocrinologist opportunity, who are licensed in ALABAMA, MISSOURI or MISSISSIPPI , OR hold an active IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) designation or possess an official Letter of Qualification ( LOQ ). Licensure in multiple states is a nice-to-have, but not required. This role will include participation in a rotating after hours call schedule with Form Health clinical leadership and will have a reduced clinical schedule the weeks of on-call coverage. This is a Full Time (W2, 40hrs/wk) position based in a remote, telemedicine clinical setting. The physician will work closely with a supportive care team and have protected time for administrative duties.
What you'll bring
- MD or DO degree with board certification
- must be an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate, or board certified in Endocrinology
- Are licensed to practice and prescribe legally in ALABAMA, MISSOURI or MISSISSIPPI.
- This position requires multi-state practice capability.
- Applicants must either already hold a valid Letter of Qualification (LOQ) through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or meet all prerequisites to rapidly secure one upon hire
- Have excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Are committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management
- Have prior experience conducting telemedicine visits and who have a great "web-side" manner
- Have prior experience working collaboratively with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
- Bilingual candidates
- Current or previous credentialing with insurance payers is desired, but not required
- Are or have in the past credentialed with insurance payers (strong preference for multiple state licenses!)
