About the role

The Aircraft Structural Mechanic III is responsible for assessing aircraft damage and draft repair procedures to aircraft structural and composite components. Expert in the use powered / non-powered metalworking tooling and equipment.

What you'll bring

• Must be able to utilize advanced metalworking practices and depot level techniques to form, cut, bend, and fasten new / repair components to damaged structures.
• Must be highly proficient in close tolerance drilling/reaming for installation of high-strength fasteners.
• Must be able to communicate issues to management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant aircraft depot level structural maintenance experience with fixed / rotary wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft.
• Experience supporting DoD contracts.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within depot level maintenance.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
• Previous Air Force Specialty Code 2A753 / 2A773 highly desirable.
• Multi aspect aviation qualifications / certifications / disciplines highly preferred
• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and/or Powerplant certification a plus
