Micron is seeking a highly motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in their assigned area. This position requires collaboration with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors to ensure efficient tool performance and maintenance in a dynamic, brand-new technology and manufacturing environment. What you'll bring
- Associate degree in relevant technical fields such as Mechatronics, Electronics, or Robotics and/or 2 years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), progress between day and night shifts every 4 months, and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations.
- 2 years of experience in using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to fix and resolve manufacturing equipment issues.
- 4+ years’ experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in leading projects related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement, with a focus on meeting scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Over 4 years of experience in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining industrial and automated systems.
