About the role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, guest rooms, and equipment. This role ensures that all building systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting a comfortable, well-maintained environment that enhances the guest experience. The technician performs hands-on maintenance work and responds quickly to service requests to minimize downtime and guest disruption. This position operates in a fast-paced hotel environment requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused service mindset. This role involves active, physical work throughout the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The position requires flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability for emergencies. Success in this role requires reliability, technical ability, and a commitment to quality workmanship and guest satisfaction.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3+ years of maintenance, repair, or general handyman experience required
- Travel required: No travel required
- position is property-based.
- Knowledge of general building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
- Certifications: Technical or trade certifications preferred but not required.
