About the role
Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator/ Patch Manager to support KITS and our government customer in Carson, CA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. This role is responsible for managing the daily operations while with an additional focus on the Continuous Monitoring and Vulnerability Management lifecycle required to maintain the agency’s Authority to Operate (ATO).
What you'll bring
- Environment is primarily in Windows OS, Linux, Windows Server – must show experience and competence across multiple platforms
- Most roles require at least a Secret clearance, with some requiring Top Secret (TS/SCI) depending on the sensitivity of the systems.
- 7+ years in Systems Administration with at least 3 years focused specifically on enterprise-level patch management in a DoD environment.
- Must meet IAT Level II (Security+ CE) at a minimum, though IAT Level III (CASP+ or CISSP) is often preferred for "Senior" designated roles.
