About the role

The Chief Estimator will be responsible for leading a team in providing full electrical estimating and proposal preparation for all types of industrial facilities, including both new construction and maintenance, for projects up to $20M in value. Estimates will cover all types of contracts in the energy, mining, power, manufacturing, pulp/paper, agricultural, pharma, and other industries which Loenbro serves. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies. This role will remain open until filled

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of heavy industrial or process‑facility experience in cost estimating and cost control within the Electrical field, with strong knowledge of estimating techniques and engineering disciplines required to perform work.
• Must be able to estimate all types and sizes of projects while preparing complex proposals with minimal supervision and demonstrating knowledge of the industries in which Loenbro operates.
• Ability to travel periodically to job sites as required, must have completed OSHA or equivalent safety training, and must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, solid organizational capabilities, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and the capacity to manage occasional heavy workloads and quick turnaround timelines on estimates.
• If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required.
• Experience with HeavyBid estimating software preferred.
