About the role
The Service Provider Manager is responsible for the growth and retention of a qualified network of Service Providers within a defined geographical region. Negotiate and work with service providers to establish relationships and partnerships creating a mutual benefit for the Company and the independent business owner. The Service Provider Manager has an overarching goal to ensure service providers understand their contractual requirements drive the total cost of ownership out of the Service Provider base while improving product/service quality to clients. Responsible for managing contracts (labor rates) with new and established Service Providers. This professional will support the service centers and the SP acting as a liaison with service providers at the strategic level for service delivery of these trades. Additional responsibilities include reviewing KPI performance with SP’s for continued improvement resulting in additional work.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering or related filed
- 5-8 years of experience in vendor management and contract negotiation or service related sales
- Supply chain knowledge, specific with trade sourcing expertise
- Facility Maintenance or experience with HVAC/R
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- technical aptitude to work within additional software applications
- Strong financial, analytical and business acumen
- The position requires regular travel at an annual rate up to 60%
