About the role
Work Model: Onsite The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for safely handling the movement, storage, loading, unloading, and staging of freight within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and timely shipment processing while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment. We are looking for a motivated warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and safety. You'll play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring freight is processed efficiently.
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least six months of warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.
- Forklift experience required
- Strong attention to detail with experience reading manifests, bills of lading, and shipping documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
- Basic math skills and inventory accuracy.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Hazardous Materials certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Commission Eligible: No
