About the role

has an immediate need for a middle level Project Manager (PM III) to support our Environmental Remediation projects in Hawaii and Guam.  This position will be based in Honolulu.  In this role, this role will be focused on multiple large-scale remediation projects in Hawaii and Guam to work with a AECM team and subcontractors.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing environmental remediation projects of  $1 million dollars or greater - including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Actions for the Federal sector. The successful candidate will have at a minimum a BS in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science with a successful work history of environmental investigation and remediation projects. What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline and 4 plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
  • Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations.
  • Candidate must possess current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications and be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination.
  • Experienced with CERCLA and environmental science principles, including site assessment and characterization, remediation, risk assessment, environmental chemistry, etc.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Master’s Degree in engineering, Geology, and Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports.
  • Knowledgeable and experience working on State of Hawaii, Department of Health TGM, SCP, and local environmental regulation.
  • Extensive DOD and CLEAN Experience in Hawaii and Guam.
  • Demonstrated experience with Client and Regulatory interactions
