About the role

We are seeking a Thermal Analyst to join our team working on the Engineering Services and Science Capability Augmentation (ESSCA) contract with NASA! In this role, you will be expected to contribute to the development, test, and certification of space systems hardware for a wide variety of NASA’s ongoing and future projects.  You will provide technical support in the thermal analysis evaluation of Environmental Control Life Support Systems equipment.  You will be expected to:

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of experience in the application of finite element methods using thermal desktop code and empirical closed-form thermal analysis techniques
• 10+ years of experience of thermal testing
• Experience as technical lead of projects throughout the entire design development, manufacture, and operational stages
• Knowledge of orbital thermal environment development
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Mentoring experience of junior thermal analysts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 15+ years of experience in the application of finite element methods using thermal desktop code and empirical closed-form thermal analysis techniques
• Knowledge of NASA and MSFC standards and specifications as well as experience with the design and analysis of thermal systems
• Proficiency with thermal test set up support
