About the role

FMS Aerospace is currently seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Technician  for our Huntsville office location. The successful candidate in an integral part of our production team and will be responsible for building assemblies within established timeframes and documenting specifications, ensuring that all work and components meet rigorous quality standards. This position requires someone interested in avionics and electrical systems for various aircraft.

What you'll bring

• 2-4 years’ experience in avionics and/or electrical wiring systems
• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
• IPC-620 certification is a must
• Experience reading electrical drawings
• Experience in a production/manufacturing setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proficiently with remotely located employees as well as in a team environment
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must currently possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance
• Experience soldering and/or hand crimping
• Familiarity with analog and digital electronics
• Familiar with using a digital multimeter
