About the role
Chicagoland Speedway is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the facility, equipment, and grounds while supporting events of all sizes held at the track. This hands-on role is responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, facility improvements, and event support. The Maintenance Technician will work across the property to help ensure buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and other facility assets remain safe, functional, and event-ready. What you'll bring
- High school diploma or GED, two to four years of related maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of general facility maintenance, repair practices, equipment, and tools.
- Ability to perform a variety of hands-on maintenance and construction-related tasks.
- Strong attention to safety and the ability to identify and respond appropriately to potential workplace hazards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates, contractors, and trade professionals.
- Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
