About the role

The food service worker supports daily food production operations in a school kitchen that serves students The position is responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling food items, serving students meals, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This part-time position follows the Woodridge SD 68 school calendar and starts in August. Monday- Friday 8am-1pm. No Nights, weekends, or holidays.

What you'll bring

• Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory using FIFO procedures
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Serve Safe Certified or the ability to obtain certification upon hire
• Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria experience preferred but not required
